Often, we're taught to view the ego as an adversary, a part of ourselves that needs to be conquered or suppressed. But what if we've been looking at it all wrong? 🤔

The ego isn't the villain in our story; it's a misunderstood protector, a voice that's been with us since our earliest days, asking three simple but profound questions:

1️⃣ Am I safe? This is the ego seeking security in an unpredictable world.
2️⃣ Am I lovable? Here, it's looking for acceptance and belonging.
3️⃣ Can I have what I want? This concerns our desires and aspirations and whether we feel empowered to pursue them.
